How to make time valuable
Allah Tabarak and Taala has given many blessings to man and all of them are great blessings and there is a need to value them all and it is also emphasized to value them all but some blessings are great towards them. There is a great need for attention because people do not know the value of these blessings, and even if someone knows a little, he does not have the attention to appreciate them, and if he does, it is not complete.
However, the purpose of my submission is that we all realize the preciousness of these blessings and if we are not appreciating them, then start appreciating them and use them carefully so that they are the most for us. May it become beneficial and useful and let the negligence and neglect that has happened to us in this regard be removed
Time is a great blessing. One of these great blessings is the blessing of time, which Allah swore by in "Surah Al-Asr". I am except those who believed and did good deeds, advised each other to do good, and advised each other to be patient.
Allah Almighty has sworn by it because of the greatness of time. After coming into this world, Allah Almighty has given the blessing of time and time to every human being. Some are less, some are more, and some are too little, and some are too much. However, whoever came into the world must have brought the blessing of time, and the successful person is the one who uses this blessing in the right way.
There are three forms of using time. The first form is that the time should be spent only in obedience and worship in the remembrance of Allah, and this obedience and remembrance of Allah is not only the name of a few acts of worship, but the name of the entire religion. And for a Muslim all his life, some aspect of religion comes in front of him for action, therefore, at any point of life, if any aspect of religion or any order of religion is presented to him for action, then he should act on it. To do is to spend your time in worship and obedience and to make your time valuable. For example, sometimes preaching is ordered, sometimes Jihad is ordered, sometimes it is ordered to reform, sometimes it is ordered to perform funeral prayers, sometimes it is ordered to behave in good manners. When the time came to fast, then the time came to give zakat, then the time came to give zakat. If the time came, then he was saved from the Haram. You saved yourself from impatience, when the opportunity came, you held on to patience. So all these orders happen to man from time to time and spending time in these orders is spending time in obeying and worshiping Allah.
However, the first case is that he spends his time in worshiping Allah Almighty and obeying Allah Almighty and obeying whatever the religion dictates and demands, and this is the best and highest form because The time spent in obeying God and following God's command and obeying God's command is the most golden and precious time, and it is also the real purpose of life, because God has made all human beings and jinn. He has created for his worship that he should spend his time in obedience to Allah Almighty and avoid disobedience because avoiding disobedience is also obedience.
Another way of using time , from which Allah Almighty always protects us, is to spend that time in disobedience to Allah Almighty, immorality and sin, for example, in gossiping, lying, backbiting, and blaming. , in useless talk, in useless comments, in reading useless and useless news, in reading such books and magazines and such articles, which are completely useless and useless, in such dirty novels and fictions that indecency, indecency, debauchery and If bad economics is taught and they have bad effects on the reader, then in reading such dirty novels, watching TV, watching movies through VCR, watching haram and illegal programs through internet, cable. By looking at the world naked, looking at impermissible women with lust, looking at hairless boys with lust, stealing, robbing, drinking alcohol, deliberately skipping prayer and skipping congregational prayer without an excuse. Or if someone spends his time in any other sin, it is as if he has wasted his time and ruined himself.
So the summary is that when a person engages in sin, that time he is extremely hateful and disliked in the sight of Allah Almighty and when a person is worshiping Allah with sincerity, even if he is seven If he hides himself in the rooms and worships, then this person is very favorite and beloved of Allah Ta'ala. However, the other way around is that if we spend our time in disobedience to Allah Almighty and in sin, no matter how much time we spend in sin, it is as if we wasted that time, wasted it, were ungrateful and disrespectful of that time and We wasted our precious capital, life.
The third way of using time is that within this time we should neither do any good work nor do any sinful work, but do something lawful and righteous. A permissible and permissible act is one which has no reward for doing it and no sin for omitting it, that is, there is no reward for doing it and no punishment for not doing it, then such an act is called permissible and permissible. The list of permitted and permissible actions is long.
All the work that a person does in the morning and in the evening, these three situations are usually present. From morning to evening, if a person considers how he has spent this day, then he himself will feel that he has done some good deeds, some bad deeds and some such deeds. Those who can neither be called good nor bad, those who have done good deeds should be thankful to Allah Ta'ala that with His help I have done these things, I have no perfection in it, do not be proud of it and Do not be in awe of the bad deeds you have done, i.e. the time you spent in doing something sinful, such as saying something to someone that hurt his heart, doing bad things to someone, slandering someone. , reprimanded someone unjustly and without reason, persecuted parents, troubled siblings or committed any other sin, then he should immediately repent and ask for forgiveness from Allah Almighty and make arrangements to avoid it in the future.
And some time in the whole day passed in which he did things that are neither rewarded nor reprimanded, but permissible and permitted, such as sleeping, eating, drinking, dressing, adorning himself, meeting someone. Now, if he goes to meet for the sake of Allah, it will become worship, and if he goes like that, then it will be permissible and permissible. Apart from this, there are many other permissible actions that a person does throughout the day, so there is no reward for them. And there is no punishment. Even a good deed with good intentions becomes worship
However, there are also permissible and permissible acts that can be easily worshiped due to good intentions, a work that is permissible in its own right, if we have good intentions while doing it, then it is permissible and permissible. Work will easily become worship, that work itself will remain permissible and permissible, but due to good intentions, it will become worship and will become a reward and reward for us. Therefore, in all the lawful and permissible acts, we should bind good intention in our feet, that is, while doing every permissible act, we should have good intention in it, then it will become a worship for us and will be a source of reward and reward. It is such an excellent act that it does not require money, nor does it require energy, nor does it require any special time.
The other side of the intention is that if someone has a bad intention in worship, then the worship also becomes a sin, for example, while performing the Nafila prayer, one should intend that people call him Abid and Zahid, perform Hajj so that people call him Haji and Hajj. Elsewhere, he should treat his relatives well so that the people of the community say that he cares a lot about his relatives, he is very sympathetic and generous to the nation, so now in these three cases, money also spent, time was also spent and labor and hardship were also endured, but still the sin will be written in his book of deeds that it is showy and hypocritical and no such worship of him is acceptable and if these three works of Allah Almighty If they are done for the sake of pleasure, all these works become worship and become kundan and even a little worship becomes a lot and becomes popular. However, this intention is such a lovely thing that if it is used in a good way in lawful and permissible deeds, then all lawful deeds also become the cause of reward and reward.
For example , there are three or four companions living in a room and it is a lawful and permissible thing for all the companions to live together in this way. I will remain with them and since they are all fellow students and have come to acquire knowledge of religion, I will serve them so that they may acquire the religion of Allah with more interest and then when they are finished, they will leave. So they will spread the religion of Allah and in this way they will serve the religion, then I will get reward. Now, with this intention, staying together with companions will also become worship, now this person is also in worship during the day, he is also in worship at night, and in addition, whenever and however much time he spends in the room, he is considered as worship. Will be.
Within this intention, Allah has placed another facility and that is that a person can do more than one intention at a time and each intention will get a separate reward, like one intention to stay in a room and serve one's companions . It has been done and for the sake of Allah, serving one's friends, sisters, brothers and common people is a high level of worship and then serving students and scholars is an even greater reward. In this, another intention can also be that if one of these companions falls ill, then I will take care of his illness. And visiting the sick, visiting him and caring for him in his illness is also worship.
The third intention can also be that Allah Almighty will grant knowledge to these companions, I will get this knowledge from them and the knowledge that Allah will grant me simply by His grace, I will convey it to them in knowledge. Repetition, study and oral discussion will all be included.
The fourth intention in living with companions may also be that I will be able to have good company through them in living with them, these are my companions who are God-fearing and righteous and certainly better than me, because for every Muslim there is another. The Muslim is currently superior to him and if I should be in some good company, then I live with good companions, so that being in their good company will also benefit me, and if I get a different reward for this intention.
See, by making different intentions at the same time, a person can get the reward of all of them, as it is clear from the above example that the room is the same, the companions are also the same and the time is also the same, but by making different intentions, each intention is separate. Reward is getting. In the same way, we can make different intentions for teaching and we can get the reward of all these by making different intentions for going to the market, because when a person goes to the market with these good intentions, the work he will do when he goes there. It will also be counted as worship and knowing his ego will also be a source of reward and reward for him by joining worship. That is why I am requesting that we all tie the intention in our laps, because this It is such a strange blessing that it makes time so quickly and so precious
Much time is spent in permissible activities, however, the time and portion of worship is small, and the time and portion of worship is very large, and the time of sin is also very small, except that a person does not give up on sin. "Since the opportunities for sin are very rare from morning to evening, most of the time man usually spends in doing permissible things, so the use of intention to make the time spent in permissible actions valuable is very important. Do it, so that our rewards and good deeds continue to increase.
On the best use of intention , I remembered an incident that happened to a teacher of our Darul Uloom. He once told that I used to think fifty intentions while walking after Fajr prayer. So you should consider that walking in the morning, it is the same action and it only takes the same time, but he says that Allah Almighty put fifty intentions in my mind about it at that time, so I made them fifty out of fifty. Make intentions, in this way, each intention will be rewarded separately at the same time and in one action.
This is the excellence of good people that first of all, their time is spent in negligence, then Allah Almighty allows them to use one of them, due to which there is hardly any time in their time that is in negligence. Otherwise, all their time is spent either in remembrance of God or in worship due to good intentions, and if there is a shortcoming, it is spent in repentance and forgiveness. I pass.
An incident also comes in the sermons of Hazrat Thanvi, may God have mercy on him, that a murid built his new house, when the house was ready, he invited his leader to visit his house and inaugurate the house. Give and also eat food and pray for blessing, because of your coming, the house will be blessed.
Pir Sahib went to the house of this murid, he made his Hazrat sit in his new seat, in this seat he had installed a window, he made Hazrat sit near the window and he himself sat in front of Hazrat. Sahib asked why this window has been installed, so he said that Hazrat has installed it to allow air and light to come in. So Hazrat said a little regretfully that if the intention in installing this window was that I am installing the window so that the call to prayer can be heard from it, then with the intention of calling the call to prayer as long as this window remains here, would be rewarded. "Subhaan Allah" was the best teaching. So, doors and windows are usually installed with the intention of letting in air and light, which is a legitimate and permissible intention, but there are also many good deeds associated with it, if there is wisdom, which good people would be blessed with. Yes, may Allah bless us with their help, then there may be intentions that will be the door, the same window, but good intentions will turn them into worship and the wind and light will still come. will
However, the third time will be our morning and evening in which we will not be doing good or doing any bad thing, but that time will be spent in a lawful and permissible work, if only lawful and permissible. Even if some time is spent in work, it is a kind of loss, because committing a sin in some time is a clear loss, but one case is that we could have received a lot of reward by doing minor actions in a short time, but our If, due to negligence and laziness, he could not get that reward by spending his time in lawful and permissible work, this is also a kind of loss and this is called non-profit. That is, the lack of profit is also a kind of loss, and the religious people consider it a loss, but the worldly people do not consider it a loss, Masha'Allah, it is a matter of great regret.
I remembered the incident of a businessman who considered non-profit as a loss. A businessman used to come to our Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Shafi Sahib, may God have mercy on him, and whenever he came, he would tell the loss of the year's trade to Hazrat that Hazrat ! This year there was a loss of twenty crores, this year there was a loss of ten crores and this year there was a loss of five crores. So he would tell Hazrat his loss in crores and lakhs and Hazrat would be very heartened to hear that this poor poor man continues to work hard all year long and in the end he suffers such a huge loss. Finally, one day Hazrat Rahmatullah Alaihi asked this businessman that brother! What kind of business are you doing that there is no profit in it, you never tell that so much profit was made, but whenever you tell, you only mention the loss, so what is the compulsion for you to have so much loss? Business is adopted. What kind of loss is it that you always bear it and mention it? But do not even take the name of leaving it? If you have to bear such a big loss continuously, then leave this business and start a business that has profit, leave the business that always gives loss. So the businessman said, "Hazrat, the fact is that when we set up a factory or a factory or buy any goods, etc., we estimate in our mind that this year we should make so much profit, for example, we estimate that Let's estimate that this year we should have a profit of ten crores in this factory or factory and then if there is a profit of five crores in it, we tell people that there is a loss of five crores in it, or for example we made this estimate. That this year we should have a profit of five million and if there is a profit of forty million, then we say that there has been a loss of ten million. In other words, they consider the expected profit of one million as a loss and do not mention the actual gain and profit of four million. When our Prophet, may Allah have mercy on him, heard this, he sat down holding his head and started saying that I understood how much loss this child is suffering, but it was found that non-profit is also a loss for these business people and generally we have this here. is not of much importance, although from the point of view of the hereafter, we should pay more attention to the times, moments and actions in which we can get a great reward in the hereafter through good intentions or in any other way. If you can't do it, it's a big loss and loss.
I remembered one virtue about Tahajjud at that time. Let me tell you, it is in a tradition that a person who prays in the Prophet's Mosque, may receive the reward of praying ten thousand times, in some traditions it is fifty thousand . It is also mentioned, but in this hadith, ten thousand is mentioned, otherwise, in general, it is mentioned that the reward is fifty thousand times in the Prophet's Mosque, and twenty-five thousand times in Bait al-Maqdis, and in this tradition, it is as follows that praying in the Prophet's Mosque, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The reward of reading is ten thousand times more and the reward of praying in Haram Sharif is equal to one hundred thousand prayers and the reward of praying while protecting the border of Islam is equal to two million and the reward of praying two rakats of Nafl during Tahajjud is even more than that. is more So the reward of praying two rak'ahs of Tahajjud is more than 200,000, so where is 200,000 and where is 2 rak'ahs?
Now getting up for Tahajjud is in the power of each of us and it is easy, there is no difficulty, just a little courage and prayer and intention are needed, nowadays there is also an opportunity because the nights are long in winter. Even if a person wakes up at 5:30, he can perform ablution and read the qaat without rest, and whoever observes these days, it will be easy for him to get up even in the summer, God willing. However, this task is not so difficult, may Allah make it easy for us. Amen.
However, the reward of two rakats of Tahajjud is more than 2000,000 and the thing to think about is that two rakats usually take only two and a half or three minutes and if you read it calmly, you can easily complete the complete rakat in four or five minutes. are completed, the matter of long recitation and long ruku and prostration is different, so how little and normal time is spent in these two rak'ahs, but this time becomes so valuable that by reading two rak'ahs at once, two million prayers are performed. The reward in the hereafter will be found in his record of deeds.
"There is no god but Allah, there is no partner, there is no partner, there is no partner, there is no birth, there is no birth, there is no birth, there is no one."
This word is very famous and well-known, it has Aadhi To Qal Ho Allah, which is remembered by every child, the word Sharif at the beginning is also remembered by every Muslim, but two words in the middle are new. Remember them. So there is a virtue about this word that if a person recites this word once, he gets two million good deeds. Think about how much time has passed, not a minute but a few seconds, so how precious are these few seconds that were spent in reading that two million good deeds were recorded in his book of deeds and read it five times. If you take it, you will get one million good deeds, if you read it ten times, you will get two million good deeds. See it is taking little time and crores of goodness are accumulating for it.
In the same way, it is a virtue in Hajj that if a person walks from Mina to Arafat, he will get ten billion good deeds according to Hadith. Although it is a distance of six miles and it does not take six hours to walk, it hardly takes a few hours and one hundred billion good deeds are written in the book of deeds. If a person saves them and spends them in good deeds, then in a short time he will become the owner of many rewards and rewards.
By reciting Qul Hu Allah ten times, a palace is prepared in Paradise, and by looking lovingly at one's father or mother, one gets the reward of a popular Hajj. In this hadith, Maqbool is also clear, otherwise, even if someone comes to Hajj after spending one hundred thousand rupees, it is difficult to believe that it will be Maqbool, and then it will also take a lot of time, but love towards father or mother. It will take a little time to take a look at it and then the reward of the popular Hajj will be received. Now, if someone casts his eyes of love on his mother or father thousands of times, the reward of thousands of popular Hajj will be recorded in his book of deeds. Subhan Allah
We should think how much precious life Allah has given us, but we are wasting it with the most brutality.
Age is decreasing like snow _ _
Sneaking slowly _ _ _ _
This life is melting like snow. Our Prophet (may Allah have mercy on him) used to say that the example of our life is like that of a seller of ice, that the total capital of the seller of ice is snow and it is melting evenly and flowing and its drop is going into the drain. It is that as soon as the ice is sold, so soon the money will become dry and what will be left, its capital will flow away as water. In the same way, these breaths of our life are also counted. In the same way, the minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, even the years that have passed will not come back again, it is over, what has gone is asleep and what has come, if you use it properly. So if you get it, if you lose it, you lose it.
May Allah Ta'ala give us the ability to truly value our capital life simply by His grace, so that our time is not wasted in futility and in futility and in futility meetings, futility sittings, futility and futility. Nowadays, it is a habit that our time is either wasted in sin, God forbid, or sitting idle and idle, lying idle, talking idle, comments here and there. It is happening sometimes on the newspapers, sometimes on their news, sometimes on the government, sometimes on our own country and sometimes on other countries which have neither any benefit nor necessity nor any result. Just wasting time.
In the same way, if they go and sit in the rooms, then they are sitting idle and talking for hours here and there, their useless and meaningless talk is a sin in itself, in addition to this, backbiting, lies, accusations, slander, Harassment, rudeness, bad manners, bad manners, and at the same time such jokes and mockery that cause pain and suffering to others, all of them are included. Spending time in this way is spending time in sin. When he is spending time, then he is extremely hateful and disliked in the eyes of the servant of Allah Ta'ala.
Therefore , my dears and elders, pray that Allah Ta'ala bestows upon us this precious life, which He has bestowed upon all of us simply by His mercy, in the works of the hereafter and in more good deeds and beauty. Allow us to invest in legitimate and permissible activities with intention and may Allah forgive the time that has passed and especially the time that has been spent in sin and iniquity and useless and useless activities.
Pray with all your heart and soul that, O Allah, we are ignorant and unworthy, just give us your grace, only by your grace will the work be done at first and by your grace will the work be done at the end. O Allah, the time we have spent in negligence, O Lord, make this time also clear, and write the reward on our prayers, Hajj, glorification and good deeds and turn the pen of forgiveness on the sins we have committed. And the time that has passed so far has passed, now, God willing, we will not spend any time in negligence and disobedience, and the time that will pass in lawful and permissible work, then, God willing, we will make it useful by making efforts and having good intentions.
And prepare for the future and continue to pray that, O Allah, the time that is left for us should not be spent in sins, disobedience, futility and useless deeds, but in your remembrance and obedience and obedience to you. May Allah Almighty grant us all success, Ameen
