Heaven will be found with a concerned heart
A few days ago I attended a function held at a five star hotel. The atmosphere in the hall where the function was held was very interesting. A grand hall, big beautiful chandeliers, thick carpets, cool atmosphere, beautiful curtains and walls and a glittering night with it all.
I was sitting at this party thinking that such parties are common in this type of environment. But no man can enter into it. There is a price to enter such a space, which only the famous, capable, resourceful and influential can afford. All this is not possible in the life of the common people of the society.
Thus I thought that when the Lord of creation created Paradise, its beauty would surely exceed all the blessings of the world. But the greatest quality of this heaven is that it does not require wealth, name, ability and any influence to enter it. The beautiful and attractive garden of Paradise, its beautified feasts, its unlimited dominion and its eternal blessings are priceless - just, a restless heart... a heart filled with the sense of God's blessings which leads to eternal life. He is always ready to do anything for his religion, to please him.
A heart in which there is sincerity and indifference, true love for God, a desire to obey Him, a desire to die in His name, a determination to keep a covenant with Him, a firm intention to be faithful to Him, Desire for His mercy, fear of His grasp, desire to meet Him, love for His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and help from Him. That's all the heart wants
People throw away broken things. But Allah loves a restless heart, broken by worldly desires and social status,... so much so that He is ready to give in return His greatest blessing---the endless kingdom of Paradise. But what can we do that today people have all kinds of worldly desires, not just this restless heart
Allah Almighty says in the Qur'an:
"The truth is that man commits great disloyalty to his Lord, and he himself is a witness of this, and he is deeply afflicted with the love of wealth. Does he not know the time when what is in the graves will be (buried) will be taken out and what is (hidden) in the hearts will be taken out and searched?
(Qur'an, Surah Adaat, 6 to 11)
