A good and restful sleep is not only essential for a healthy, happy and active life, but also helps protect us from heart diseases, diabetes and tension. Therefore, it is important to have at least six hours of restful sleep every day

Causes of Insomnia: Insomnia is the condition in which a person is unable to sleep peacefully. This period can last from one night to a few weeks, months or years. The general reasons for this are as follows.

1. Psychological problems like fear, depression, anxiety, work problems and life dissatisfaction etc.

2. Not having a comfortable sleeping place.

3. Overuse of sleep medications.

4. Frequent urination at night.

5. Nightmares, sleepwalking.

6. Brain injury or any brain disease.

7. The trauma of the death of a loved one.

How to get good sleep

1. Eating and drinking times: Dinner should be eaten at least 2 hours before going to bed. Also, avoid tea, coffee and smoking before going to bed. Because they lose sleep.

2. Sleeping routine: Make it a habit to go to bed early at night and wake up early in the morning. Also, get yourself used to going to bed and waking up at the same time every day. This will help with restful sleep.

3. Calm environment: Remove all things from the room that may disturb sleep. For example TV, computer etc. Try to sleep in the dark and keep the room temperature moderate.*m

4. Comfortable bed. A comfortable bed is very important for good sleep. A bed that is too hard or too soft also affects sleep.

6. Take a bath before sleeping: If you take a bath with warm water before going to bed, you will get good sleep. If you drink a glass of warm milk before going to bed, you will have a good sleep.

7. Remove tension:- Before going to bed to sleep, free your mind from all worries and thoughts and keep your nerves calm.

10. With friends: A good friend comes in handy in every trouble, no matter how bad it is, it is a big mistake to abandon a friend. Spend time with friends and talk to them. Laughter will gradually reduce your mental stress and improve your sleep quality.

11. Activities:- Hard work and labor, make yourself so busy that the mind does not get a chance to think big or work so hard that you end up tired at night. Then they go to bed and the person sleeps in unconsciousness. But this only if no other procedure is blocked.
