A moment of concern for atheists
In big cities we see hundreds of factories running on electricity. Trains and trams are running. Thousands of lamps are lit up in the evening. In summer, the fans run from house to house. But these events do not create any state of wonder and wonder in us, nor do we have any kind of disagreement about the cause of these things being bright or moving. Why is this?
Because we know the condition of the power plant to which these Qumqams belong. We are aware of the existence of people who work in this power plant. We also know the engineer who is supervising these workers. We also know that the engineer is familiar with the work of generating electricity, that he has many keys and by moving these keys, he is creating the force by which we see the light of the lamps, the fan. Circulation, seen in the movement of rail and tram cars, mills and factories. So, seeing the signs of electricity, the reason why there is no disagreement between us about its causes is only because the whole chain of these causes is included in our senses and we have observed it.
Suppose the same lamps were lighted, the same fans rotated, the same rails and trams moved, the mills and machines moved, but the wires through which the electricity reaches them were invisible to our eyes, the power plants were also the spheres of our senses. Apart from that, we would not have known anything about the workers in the power plant, and we would not have known that there is an engineer in the factory who is running it with his knowledge and his power. Would our hearts have been satisfied by seeing these signs of electricity even at that time?
Shouldn't we also disagree in the same way about the causes of these phenomena?
Obviously, you will answer this in the negative. Why ?
Because when the causes of the signs are hidden and the causes of the phenomena are unknown, the hearts are filled with wonder and dissatisfaction, the minds are engaged in the search for this secret, and the speculations and opinions regarding this secret are different. It is a natural thing.
Now let's continue the discussion on this assumption. Let us assume that what is assumed actually exists in the universe. Thousands of millions of lamps are bright. Millions of fans are running, vehicles are running, factories are moving and we have no means of knowing what force is acting on them and where it comes from. People are surprised to see these manifestations. Everyone is running the horses of reason in search of their causes. One says that all things are luminous or moving from you, that there is nothing outside of their own existence that gives them light or motion. Some say that the composition of the substances of which these things are made has produced the states of light and motion within them. Some say that beyond this universal substance there are some gods, some of whom light the lamps, some run the trams and trains, some turn the fans and some are the movers of factories and mills. There are some people who are tired of thinking and finally humbled themselves and said that our intellect cannot reach the bottom of this talisman. We only know what we see and feel. We do not understand anything more than this and we cannot confirm or deny what we do not understand.
All these groups are fighting with each other, but none of them has any source of knowledge except guesses and conjectures to support their views and refute other views.
While these differences are taking place, a person comes and says, "Brothers!" I have a source of knowledge which you do not have, by which I know that all these kettles, fans, cars, factories and mills are connected by some hidden wires which you do not feel. In these wires, from a huge power plant comes the force that manifests itself in the form of light and motion. In this power house there are big and grand towers which are run by many people. All these persons are subject to one great engineer and it is the same engineer whose knowledge and power has established this entire system. All these works are being done under his direction and supervision.
This person makes this claim with full force. People deny it, all groups oppose it, call it crazy. They beat him, hurt him, throw him out of the house. But despite all these spiritual and physical troubles, he remains firm on his claim. He does not modify his speech in the slightest out of fear or greed. No adversity weakens his claim. Everything he says shows that he has complete faith in the truth of his words.
After that, another person comes and he also presents the same speech, with the same claim. Then comes a third, then a fourth, a fifth and says the same thing that his predecessors said. After that, a chain of visitors is formed. Even their number exceeds hundreds and thousands, and all of them present the same statement with the same claim. Despite the difference in time, place and circumstances, there is no difference in their views. Everyone says that we have a source of knowledge that common people don't have. All are declared insane. They are subjected to all kinds of persecution. By every means they are forced to withdraw from their words, but all of them stick to their words and no force in the world can move them an inch from their position. The salient features of these people with this determination and persistence are that none of them are liars, thieves, traitors, evil-doers, oppressors or harram eaters. Even his enemies and opponents admit it. All of them have pure morals. Sirats are extremely virtuous and distinguished from other species in their good nature. Then there is no influence of fanaticism in them, but on the contrary, they present such and such teachings for the improvement of morals, self-purification and worldly affairs and make such laws, which can be imitated by great scholars and Intellectuals have to spend entire ages in understanding their nuances.
On the one hand, they are different-minded deniers and on the other hand, they are unified-minded plaintiffs. The matter of both appears in the court of Aql Saleem. It is the duty of the intellect as a judge to first understand one's own position, then to understand the positions of the parties, and after comparing the two, decide which is preferable.
The judge's own position is that he himself has no means of ascertaining the truth. He himself does not know the truth. In front of him are only the statements of the parties, their arguments, their personal circumstances and external evidence. He has to decide who is more likely to be right after looking at them. But more than the majority, he also cannot impose any order because it is difficult for him to say what the command really is based on the contents of the missal. He may prefer one of the parties but cannot confirm or deny anyone with certainty and certainty.
This is the position of the detractors
1. Their views on reality are different and there is no agreement between them even on a single point. Even within the same group, there have been times of disagreement.
2. They themselves admit that they have no source of knowledge that others do not have. None of these groups claim anything more than that our assumptions are more weighty than others. But everyone admits to having their own speculations.
3. Their belief, faith and unwavering trust in their speculations has not reached the limit. The theory which one of them was presenting with full force until yesterday, today he himself denied his previous theory and presented another theory. With the development of age, wisdom, knowledge and experience, their views often change.
4. They have no other argument to refute the plaintiffs except that they have not produced any conclusive proof of their authenticity. They did not show us the hidden wires, which they say are related to the kettles and fans, nor did they prove the existence of electricity by experiment and observation, nor did they show us the power plant, nor did they show us the electricity. He inspected the machines and machines, did not meet us with any of his workers, nor did he ever meet us with the engineer, then how can we believe that all these are facts?
This is the position of the plaintiffs
1. They all agree with each other. There is perfect agreement between them on all the fundamental points of the claim.
2. The consensus of all of them is that we have a source of knowledge that ordinary people do not have.
3. None of them said that we say this based on our guess or assumption, but they all unanimously said that we have a special relationship with the engineer, his workers come to us, he even gave us a tour of his factory. And what we say is based on knowledge and belief. They do not say based on guesswork.
4. There is not a single example in them where someone has changed his statement even a little bit. There is only one thing that each of them has been saying from the beginning of the claim to the last breath of life.
5. Their lives are extremely pure, there is no doubt of lies, deception, fraud, cheating, and there is no reason why some people should be truthful and truthful in all matters of life, why should they lie indiscriminately in this particular matter. Speak up.
6. There is also no evidence that he had any personal gain in making these claims. On the contrary, it is proven that many of them have suffered greatly for this claim. Suffered physical pains, were imprisoned, beaten and beaten, exiled, some were killed, some were even hacked to pieces with saws, and none but a few were allowed to live a happy and free life. . Therefore, no personal motive can be blamed on them. On the contrary, his insistence on his claim under such circumstances shows that he was extremely confident in his own truth. Such a belief that even to save their lives, none of them backed down from their claim.
7. There is no proof of them being Majna or Fatar al-Aql. In all matters of life, he has been found to be of the highest level of wisdom and sound mind. Even his opponents have often believed his wisdom. Then how can it be believed that all of them have become obsessed with this particular issue?
And how about that case?
Which has become a question of life and death for them, for which they have fought the whole world, for which they have been fighting the world for years, which is the result of all their wise teachings (of being wise). (Many Muqbain also admit) to be the original principle.
8. They themselves did not say that we could make you meet the engineer or his staff, or show you his secret factory, or prove our claim by experience and observation. They themselves describe all these matters as unseen and say that you should trust us and believe what we tell you.
After considering the position of the parties and their statements, the court of common sense now gives its decision.
She says that after looking at some phenomena and signs, both parties have searched for their inner causes and each has presented their own theories. In Badi-Nazar, everyone's ideas are the same in that sense
First: None of them is rational. That is, in terms of rational laws, it cannot be said about any theory that it is impossible to be correct
Secondly: The validity of any of them cannot be proven by experience or observation, nor can any group from the first party provide such scientific proof of their theories that compels everyone to believe, and neither the second party is able to do so. or its plaintiff. But after further consideration and research, a few issues are seen, on the basis of which, among all the theories, the theory of the second party is preferred.
In the first place, no other doctrine has been supported by so many wise, virtuous, honest men, with such force and conviction.
Secondly, that so great a character, and such a large number of men, in different times and places, have agreed in the assertion that they all possessed an extraordinary source of knowledge, and that they all discovered from this source the inner causes of external phenomena. is, leads us to confirm this claim. Especially because there is no difference in their statements regarding their information, there is no rational change in the information they have stated, nor can it be considered impossible based on the laws of rationality that some Humans have some extraordinary powers that are not commonly found in other humans.
Thirdly, consideration of the state of external phenomena often suggests that the second party theory is correct. For thermoses, fans, cars, factories, etc., are not bright and moving from you, because if they were, they would be in their own power to be bright and moving, although they are not. Nor is their light and motion the result of their material-physical composition, for when they are not animated and luminous, the same physical composition is still present. Nor does it seem right that they should be under the influence of separate forces, because sometimes when there is no light in the lamps, the fans are stopped, the tram cars are stopped and the factories are not running. Therefore, all the ideas presented by the first party in the explanation of external phenomena are far from rational and speculative. It seems more correct that there is a single force working in all these phenomena and its main relationship is in the hands of a wise energy that is spending this force in different phenomena under a fixed system.
What remains is the statement of the skeptics that we do not understand this, and we cannot confirm or deny what we do not understand. It does not need to be understood by the listeners. Credible and consistent evidence is sufficient to acknowledge its occurrence. If some credible men come to us and say that we have seen men in the West flying in the air in iron chariots, and we have heard with our own ears sitting in London the words of the Americans, then we will only You will see that these people are not liars and clowns.
They do not have a personal interest in making such a statement?
There is no reason in their mind?
If it is proved that they are neither liars, nor clowns, nor madmen, nor do they have any interest in this tradition, and if we see that it is undoubtedly narrated by many truthful and wise people with all seriousness. If there is, we will certainly admit it, even if we do not understand somehow that iron chariots fly through the air and that the words of one place can be heard thousands of miles away without any perceptible connection.
This is the decision of the intellect in this matter, but the state of confirmation and belief which is called "faith" is also born from it and intuition is also needed. It requires a heartbeat. For this, it is necessary that a voice comes from within which will end all states of denial, doubt and hesitation and clearly say that people's speculations are invalid, the truth is what the truthful people have not by speculation but by knowledge and insight.
