You may have seen an airplane flying across the sky, leaving a white trail behind it. These lines are called "contralines". Actually, when any type of fuel is burned in an engine, two things are produced in the form of impurities. One is carbon dioxide and the other is water vapor.
The ship's engine also produces water vapor and carbon dioxide, which the ship expels out of its engine. The air is quite cold at the height at which the plane flies, due to this cold, these water vapors freeze in a way and due to their freezing, those white lines are seen behind the plane. These lines may look good, but they cause global warming. What is global warming?
Heat actually comes from the Sun to our Earth in the form of waves, which heat the Earth, but some of these waves hit the Earth and radiate back into space. But due to some gases and air pollution, a layer of polluted gases is formed in the upper atmosphere of the earth, which does not allow the waves that hit the earth to return, and thus these waves are trapped on the earth and the temperature of the earth is reduced. Heat rises. This process is called global warming. This rise in temperature leads to various problems like melting of glaciers, floods and weather disasters etc.
Condensed water vapor in these lines also becomes part of this layer causing global warming and thus is also a cause of global warming. Rather, they are nearly four times more dangerous than carbon dioxide in terms of global warming. It is currently a major source of aviation pollution
کونٹریلز کیا ہے ؟
آپ نے آسمان پر ہوائی جہاز کو اڑتے دیکھا ہوگا، جو اپنے پیچھے ایک سفید لکیر چھوڑ دیتا ہے۔ ان لکیروں کو "کونٹریلز" کہا جاتا ہے۔ دراصل جب کسی انجن میں کسی قسم کا ایندھن جلتا ہے تو دو چیزیں فاسد مادوں کی صورت میں پیدا ہوتی ہیں۔ ایک کاربن ڈائی آکسائڈ اور دوسرے پانی کے بخارات۔
جہاز کے انجن میں بھی یہ پانی کے بخارات اور کاربن ڈائی آکسائڈ پیدا ہوتی ہیں جو جہاز اپنے انجن سے باہر خارج کر دیتا ہے۔ جہاز جس بلندی پر اڑتا ہے وہاں فضا کافی ٹھنڈی ہوتی ہے، اس ٹھنڈ کی وجہ سے یہ پانی کے بخارات ایک طرح سے جم جاتے ہیں اور ان کے جمنے سے وہ سفید لکیریں جہاز کے پیچھے نظر آتی ہیں ۔ یہ لکیریں شاید دیکھنے میں اچھی لگیں لیکن ان کی وجہ سے گلوبل وارمنگ بڑھتی ہے۔ گلوبل وارمنگ کیا ہوتی ہے ؟
اصل میں سورج سے ہماری زمین کی طرف لہروں کی صورت میں گرمی آتی ہے، جو زمین کو گرم کرتی ہیں، لیکن ان لہروں کا ایک حصہ زمین سے ٹکرا کر واپس خلا میں بھی پھیل جاتا ہے۔ مگر کچھ گیسوں اور فضائی آلودگی کی وجہ سے زمین کی اوپری فضا میں آلودہ گیسوں کی ایک تہہ بن جاتی ہے جو زمین سے ٹکرا کر جانے والی لہروں کو واپس نہیں جانے دیتی اور اس طرح یہ لہریں زمین پر قید ہو جاتی ہیں اور زمین کا درجہ حرارت بڑھتا ہے۔ اس عمل کو گلوبل وارمنگ کہا جاتا ہے اس درجہ حرارت کے بڑھنے سے مختلف مسائل آتے ہیں جیسے گلیشیرز کا پگھلنا، سیلاب اور موسمی آفات وغیرہ۔
ان لکیروں میں موجود جمنے والے پانی کے بخارات بھی گلوبل وارمنگ کی وجہ بننے والی اس تہہ کا حصہ بن جاتے ہیں اور اس طرح یہ بھی گلوبل وارمنگ کی ایک وجہ ہیں۔ بلکہ گلوبل وارمنگ کے حوالے سے یہ کاربن ڈائی آکسائڈ سے تقریباً چار گنا زیادہ خطرناک ہیں۔ اس وقت یہ ایویشن کی آلودگی کا ایک بڑا ذریعہ ہے
