💐 The Himalayan mountain range is the highest mountain range in the world. The world's highest mountains, such as Mount Everest (8,848 meters high) and K-2 (8,611 meters high), are part of the Himalayas.
Himalaya is a Sanskrit word meaning "home of snow" - it is a combination of two words;
"Huma" means "snow"
"A-laya" means "home residence"
Recently, fish fossils have been discovered on the summit of Mount Everest, the highest snow-capped mountain in the Himalayas. Fish are marine life found in lakes, rivers, and oceans. Finding fish remains on the world's highest mountain is a very surprising discovery.
The question arises: who could have lifted the fish to such a height?
According to experts, the reason for this is the great flood that occurred in the past, which is known as the Flood of Noah.
This flood of water is mentioned in the Bible and the Quran - according to the Bible;
"On that day all the springs of the earth burst forth, and the floodgates of heaven were opened, and it rained on the earth for forty days and forty nights (more than two and a half months)."
(Bible, Book of Genesis, Chapter:7, Verse:12)
And
"The flood continued on the earth for forty days, and as the waters increased, the ark rose above the earth. The waters increased on the earth, and increased greatly, and the ark floated on the surface of the waters. The waters rose so much on the earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered. The waters rose fifteen cubits higher than the mountains. Every bird, every beast, and every man, every living thing on the earth, perished."
(Bible, Book: Genesis, verses: 17-21)
According to the Holy Quran;
(Then after some time Allah Almighty) commanded: O earth! Swallow the water and O sky! Stop (from raining more water). And (gradually) the water dried up - and the task was completed and the ship landed on a mountain called 'Judi'.
(The Holy Quran, Surah Hud, verse 44)
Mount Judi is located in the region between Iraq and Turkey (known as Kurdistan) towards Mosul.
The Torah describes the ark's resting place as 'Ararat', which is the name of the mountain range in Armenia in Europe, and it still bears that name today. A few years ago, Western tourists discovered the broken planks of a large ark on this mountain.
ماونٹ ایورسث اور مچھلی
۔ 💐 ہمالیہ کا پہاڑی سلسلہ دنیا کا سب سے بلند ترین پہاڑی سلسلہ ہے ،ماونٹ ایورسٹ (8،848 میٹر بلندی) اور کے-ٹو (8،611 میٹربلندی) جیسے دنیا کے بلند ترین پہاڑ ہمالیہ کا حصہ ہیں
ہمالیہ سنسکرت زبان کا لفظ ہے جس کا معنیٰ "برف کا گھر" ہے - یہ دو لفظوں کا مجموعہ ہے؛
"ہما" یعنی "برف"
"ا-لایا" یعنی "گھر رہائش"
حال ہی میں ہمالیہ کے برف پوش بلند ترین پہاڑ ماونٹ ایورسٹ کی چوٹی میں سے مچھلی کے فوسلز دریافت ہوئے ہیں - مچھلی سمندری حیات ہے جو جھیلوں، دریاؤں اور سمندروں میں ملتی ہے- مچھلی کے باقیات کا دنیا کے بلند ترین پہاڑ پر ملنا بہت حیران کن دریافت ہے
سوال یہ پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ مچھلی کو آخر اتنی بلندی تک کس نے پہنچایا ہوگا ؟
ماہرین کے مطابق اس کی وجہ ماضی میں آنے والا وہ عظیم سیلاب ہے جس کو دنیا طوفان نوح علیہ السلام کہا جاتا ہے
پانی کے اس طوفان کا ذکر بائبل اور قرآن مجید میں آیا ہے - بائبل کے مطابق؛
"اس دن زمین کے نیچے سے سارے چشمے پھوٹ نکلے اور آسمان سے سیلاب کے دروازے کھل گئے اور زمین پر چالیس 40 دن اور چالیس 40 رات (ڈھائی ماہ سے زائد) تک لگاتار بارش برستی رہی"
(بائبل ، کتاب پیدائش ، باب:7 ، فقرہ: 12)
اور
"چالیس دن تک زمین پر طوفان جاری رہا اور جوں جوں پانی چڑھتا گیا، کشتی زمین سے اوپر اٹھتی چلی گئی - پانی زمین پر چڑھتا گیا، اور بہت ہی بڑھ گیا اور کشتی پانی کی سطح پر تیرتی رہی - پانی زمین پر اس قدر پانی چڑھ گیا کہ سارے آسمان کے نیچے کے تمام اونچے اونچے پہاڑ تک ڈوب گئے - پانی بڑھتے بڑھتے پہاڑوں سے بھی پندرہ ہاتھ اوپر چڑھ گیا - زمین پر ہر پرندہ، ہر جانور اور ہر انسان گویا ہر جاندار فنا ہوگیا - "
(بائبل ، کتاب: پیدائش، فقرہ :17 تا 21)
قرآن مجید کے مطابق؛
(پھر کچھ عرصہ بعد اللہ تعالیٰ کا) حکم ہوا کہ : اے زمین! پانی نگل جاؤ اور اے آسمان! (مزید پانی برسانے سے) رک جا۔ اور (آہستہ آہستہ) پانی خشک ہوگیا - اور کام پورا کر دیا گیا اور کشتی ' جودی ' نامی پہاڑ پر جا لگی
(قرآن مجید ، سورہ ھود ، آیت :44)
جودی نامی پہاڑ عراق اور ترکی کے درمیانی علاقے (جسے کردستان کہتے ہیں) موصل کی جانب واقع ہے
تورات میں کشتی کے ٹھہرنے کی جگہ 'اراراط' بتائی گئی ہے جو یورپ میں واقع آرمینیا کے پہاڑی سلسلے کا نام ہے اور آج بھی اس کا یہی نام ہے - کچھ سال قبل مغربی سیاحوں نے اس پہاڑ پر ایک بڑی کشتی کے ٹوٹے ہوئے تختے بھی دریافت کیے ہیں -
