سائنسدانوں نے ایک غار کی جب کھوج لگائی تو پتا چلا کہ یہ تو پانچ ملین سالوں سے بند پڑی تھی اور اس میں بُہت کچھ حیران کن موجود تھا۔
مووائل غار کے رہائشی عام جانداروں جیسے نہیں، دُنیا سے دور یہ عجیب و غریب دُنیا اپنی مثال آپ ہے۔ رومانیہ کی یہ غار جو کہ بحیرہ اسود کے نزدیک ہے پچھلے ساڑھے پانچ ملین سالوں سے بند پڑی ہے۔یہاں کی زہریلی اور حبس زدہ ہوا نے نئی مخلوقات کی کاک ٹیل بنا دی ہے جو کہ ماہرینِ حیاتیات کے لئے ایک خزانے سے کچھ کم نہیں۔
اس غار کی گہرائیوں کی ہوا عام ہوا سے زیادہ کاربن ڈائی آکسائڈ اور آدھی آکسیجن رکھتی ہے۔ حیرت ناک بات یہ ہے کہ یہاں کی ہوا میں ہائڈروجن سلفائڈ موجود ہے۔یہ جگہ پچھلے پان.چ اعشاریہ پانچ ملین سالوں سے گھُپ اندھیرے میں ڈوبی ہوئی ہے۔
کم روشنی کی وجہ سے بہت سی مخلوقات سفید رنگت رکھتی ہیں کیونکہ رنگ کالا کرنے والا پگمنٹ روشنی کے بغیر نہیں بن پاتا۔ اس وجہ سے اس غار میں موجود مخلوق کی رنگت سفید اور آنکھیں موجود ہی نہیں۔ کیونکہ اندھیرے میں آنکھوں کی ضرورت نہیں رہتی۔
یہ جگہ کسی افسانوی سیارے کا سا ماحول رکھتا ہے جہاں کا ماحول ہی عام دُنیا سے الگ ہے۔ یہ ایکو سسٹم دُنیا کا وہ واحد ایکو سسٹم ہے جو مکمل طور پہ کیمو سنتھیٹک بیکٹیریا پہ انحصار کرتا ہے۔ کیمو سنتھیٹک بیکٹیریا وہ بیکٹیریا ہیں جو کیمیائی اجزاء کی توڑ پھوڑ سے غذائی ضروریات پوری کرتےہیں۔ جبکہ اس کے مُقابلے میں زیادہ تر بیکٹیریا سورج کی روشنی سے انرجی حاصل کرتے ہیں۔اب جبکہ یہاں سورج کی روشنی تو پُہنچ نہیں پاتی تو یہاں کے جانداروں نے کیمیائی تعاملات سے ہی انرجی حاصل کرنا شروع کر دی ہے۔ جس میں وہ سلفر /گندھک کے تعاملات سے انرجی اور کاربن حاصٖ کرتے ہیں۔
لیکن ایک معمہ ابھی بھی حل کرنے والا ہے۔ اور وہ معمہ یہ ہے کہ یہ غار ایسے کیسے بند ہوئی ؟
اور یہ مخلوقات کس طرح یہاں قید ہوئیں؟
کچھ سائنسدانوں کے مُطابق یہاں پہ بیکٹیریا پانچ ملین سالوں سے پہلے کے قید ہیں جبکہ کیڑے مکُوڑے اُس کے بعد یہاں مقید ہوئے۔بقول جے کُولن جو کہ ایک مائیکرو بائیولوجسٹ ہیں اُن کے مُطابق کیڑے اس میں پھنسے اور اوپر دہانے پہ پتھر آگِرا جس نے غار کو بند کر دیا۔
اس غار میں اور بھی بُہت سے راز پوشیدہ ہیں۔لیکن اس جگہ کو جاننے کے تیس سالوں کے بعد بھی اس غار کی بہت سی مخلوقات ابھی بھی ہمارے لئے انجان ہیں۔ لیکن ان مخلوقات کا مطالعہ ارتقائی حیاتیات کے لئے ایک سنگِ میل ثابت ہو گا۔اور ہمیں جاننے کو بُہت کچھ ملے گا

When scientists explored a cave, they discovered that it had been closed for five million years and contained many surprises.
The inhabitants of the Movil Cave are not like ordinary creatures, this strange and remote world is an example of itself. This cave in Romania, which is near the Black Sea, has been closed for the past five and a half million years. The poisonous and humid air here has created a cocktail of new creatures that is nothing less than a treasure trove for biologists.
The air in the depths of this cave contains more carbon dioxide and half the oxygen than normal air. Surprisingly, the air here contains hydrogen sulfide. This place has been immersed in darkness for the past five and a half million years.
Due to low light, many creatures have a white color because the pigment that turns the color black cannot be formed without light. That is why the creatures in this cave are white and have no eyes. Because eyes are not needed in the dark.
This place has the atmosphere of a fictional planet where the atmosphere is different from the normal world. This ecosystem is the only ecosystem in the world that depends entirely on chemosynthetic bacteria. Chemosynthetic bacteria are bacteria that fulfill their nutritional needs by breaking down chemical components. In contrast, most bacteria obtain energy from sunlight. Now that sunlight does not reach here, the organisms here have started obtaining energy from chemical reactions. In which they obtain energy and carbon from sulfur/sulfur reactions.
But one mystery still remains to be solved. And that mystery is how did this cave get closed like this?
And how did these creatures get trapped here?
According to some scientists, bacteria are trapped here from five million years ago, while insects were trapped here later. According to Jay Cullen, a microbiologist, the insects got trapped in it and a rock fell on the top, which closed the cave.
There are many more secrets hidden in this cave. But even after thirty years of knowing this place, many of the creatures of this cave are still unknown to us. But the study of these creatures will prove to be a milestone for evolutionary biology. And we will find a lot to learn.
