۔•🌹 کولا سپر ڈیپ ہول کی گہرائی 12262 میٹر ہے۔ یاد رہے کہ فضا میں پرواز کرنے والے تجارتی جہاز اوسطاً 11887 میٹر بلندی پر پرواز کرتے ہیں۔کولا سپر ڈیپ ہول ایک روسی منصوبہ تھا، جس کا مقصد زمین کی اوپری تہہ میں سوراخ کرنا تھا لیکن کھدائی کا کام اصل ہدف کے تہائی تک ہی پہنچ سکا کیونکہ اس گہرائی میں درجہ حرارت 180 ڈگری سینٹی گریڈ تھا، جس کی وجہ سے کھدائی کرنے والے آلات کام نہیں کر سکتے تھے۔حیرت کی بات ہے کہ یہ سوراخ زمین پر صرف 23 سینٹی میٹر یا 9 انچ چوڑا ہے۔
اس کا مطلب ہے کہ اس میں کوئی انسان تو نہیں گر سکتا لیکن اگر اس میں کوئی چیز پھینکی جائے تو اسے نیچے سطح سے ٹکرانے میں 50 سیکنڈ لگیں گے۔
۔۔•🌹کچھ عرصہ پہلے تک کولا سپر ڈیپ ہول کو بھی زمین میں کھودا گیا گہرا ترین گڑھا سمجھا جاتا تھا لیکن زیڈ 44 چاوئو نے کولا سپر ڈیپ ہول کا ریکارڈ بھی توڑ دیا۔ روس میں ہی واقع اس کنویں کی گہرائی 12376 میٹر ہے۔تیل اور گیس کی تلاش میں کھودے گئے اس کنویں میں برج الخلیفہ جیسی 15 عمارتیں اوپر نیچے کھڑی کی جا سکتی ہیں۔ یاد رہے کہ زمین کا اوپری قشر تقریباً 70 ہزار میٹر یعنی 43.5 میل موٹا ہے جبکہ زمین کا مرکز سطح زمین سے 6371 کلومیٹر یا 3959 میل نیچے ہے۔بظاہر ایسا لگتا ہے کہ انسان کے خلا میں آگے بڑھنے کی رفتار زمین کی گہرائی میں جانے کی رفتار سے کافی زیادہ ہے۔
